TRAINING – Mobile Training

PCL have recognised the challenge that many of our customers face to maintain a training facility both in terms of hardware and dedicated office space. To try and release the pressure of planning training PCL provide a Mobile Training Facility.

The Mobile Training Facility hardware consists of a Dell server running RedHat Linux and 10 laptop PCs with wireless connectivity all pre-installed with Oracle applications software. A training course could be delivered in any available office space. All we need are power points and the tables and chairs. The wireless technology allows total flexibility on room set up. Courses can be delivered in traditional ‘classroom’ style, or for example in a more informal ‘U’ shaped meeting style to allow more delegate and tutor interaction.

We offer a full range of DBA services to prepare the applications environment of your choice. Below are just some of the scenarios we can support:

• PCL training courses on the Vision database
• PCL training courses on the PCL Training Database
• Load a copy of your training database onto our server
• Load a full copy of your environment and database to include any customisations onto our server
• Install a special version of Oracle Applications to suit your requirements and load a copy of your environment onto our server
